Terms of Service

Welcome to Debt Notary. By using this app, you agree to the following terms:

1. Use of the App

You must be at least 18 years old to use this app. You agree to use Debt Notary only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Data Usage

You retain ownership of all data you add to the app, including records, contacts, and images. We store your data securely and use it only to support app functionality.

4. Connected Contacts & Shared Debts

If you accept a connection request from another user, you agree to receive and synchronize any debt records shared with that connection. These records are treated as shared and both parties will have access to view and update them.

5. Paid Features

Debt Notary offers both free and paid features. Paid features are available through optional subscription plans or a one-time lifetime license.

5.1 Subscription Plans

Users can choose to subscribe to premium features on a monthly or yearly basis. Subscriptions are managed and billed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings on the relevant app store.
  • No refunds will be provided for partial periods or unused time.

5.2 Lifetime License

As an alternative to subscriptions, users may purchase a one-time lifetime license to unlock all premium features indefinitely on their account.

Please note that the lifetime license is linked to your user account and may not be transferable across multiple platforms or app stores.

5.3 Changes to Paid Features

We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features available in the free or paid tiers at any time. We will notify users in advance for any major changes affecting existing paid users.

6. Advertisements and Tracking

The app may display ads using Google AdMob. These ads may be personalized based on your device settings and platform consent. On iOS, you may choose to allow or deny tracking through Apple`s ATT prompt.

You understand that ads help support the app and by using the app, you consent to this ad experience. You may choose to limit ad tracking through your device settings.

7. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or misuse the app.

8. Limitation of Liability

Debt Notary is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app, including but not limited to data loss, financial harm, or reminder failures.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
